Whooper swans

The Whooper Swan almost extincted from Finland in the beginning of the 19th century. Strong protection and new information with never seen pictures quickly changed our attitude and this magnificent creature is now common and also enjoys the status of our national bird. Picture shot at park in very nice evening light.

Beautiful light and beautiful birds, but a challenge to expose correctly for sure.. ;)

Dare I say that the image is tilted? How did you miss that?!

Thanks, I’ll straighten the image tomorrow. Missed that totally! It is still a bit difficult for me to get those lines on level as you can see :-P

Couldn’t sleep over it x-) Now it should be straight. Thanks Minna, I always welcome honest critique. -Time to time you just become blind to your own work.

Much better! :) Now there is lovely harmony in the picture, I’ve often noticed that even the slightest tilt can ruin the mood of an image for me, somehow it just makes me uneasy.

Having said that, I won’t guarantee that my catalogue is 100% tilt-free… LOL!
